▍ ❝ RULE ONE.
Seafront Village Library prides itself in being an exclusively Safe for Work venue. We're not in the market for such activities and will not permit it during working or off hours. We do stock erotica to take home with you, this doesn't mean you need to act it out while visiting us. In extension, all "swimsuit areas" must be covered at all times while visiting Seafront Village Library. This does include after-hours as well, Grimore Rubrum and Grimore Weiss keeps an eye out for such activities while Popola is away.▍ ❝ RULE TWO.
We're big on helping others out where possible as it's one of our founding ideals, though we do ask you keep Duty Finder/Roulette Queueing to a minimum along with teleporting out of the premise. Due to the tight knit nature of the Library we'd also like to ask that all minions (with the exception of service/support pets) are put away while staying at Seafront Village Library. Popola is the exception as sole owner and caretaker of the library.
▍ ❝ RULE THREE.
Though we heavily encourage communication and conversation with those around us we understand not everyone is as talkative and prefer to be left alone. If this is the case for you, feel free to let Popola know and she'll leave you be into whatever you'd like to do! You're welcome to work on other projects as you'd like as Seafront Village Library is a space for those with a nose down for their Sharlayan or Ishgardian finals or those who'd rather hear others' tales over sharing theirs.▍ ❝ RULE FOUR.
Though not necessarily a rule per se, we do ask any sort of bigotry in real life or in-game stays outside of our walls and you choose a different place to spend your time. We try to harbor an open arms/open door policy to all no matter what walks of life they come from. Any note of harassment or bigotry found while you're in our library will be grounds for immediate leave of the premise and a ban/blacklist from ours and sponsored venues.

❝ Once upon a time... born out of seemingly nowhere, Seafront Village Library was founded by Popola and her late sister Devola as a way to give back to the community that helped the two of them out for as long as they knew. Slowly fixing up the interior, Popola chose to reside solely inside as it's caretaker and head librarian and began adding some of her own novels to the collection for the rest of the town to see. Though, her sole mission began: build the most welcoming and sanctuary-like library that'll take in anyone, regardless of who they are.Seafront Village Library prides itself on being pretty well-versed in its collections and our curator Popola is knowledgeable in most subjects that she stores on her shelves. While she travels from Star to Star looking for the best for the locals of Seafront, we also do it in order to bring the best to you as a patron. We harbor an open-door policy even when Popola has stepped out so that anyone can come in and decompress or do their work in an undisturbed location. In collaboration with venues, Seafront Village Libary provides several services for the community in order to reach more people in the pursuit of knowledge.
In turn, Seafront Village Library is an open opportunity work front for those needing aid in their lives. Popola and Devola were single-handedly being raised in the outlying village of Beakwood Point and understood the "It takes a village." rhetoric and applied it to the Library itself. Those looking for support or a shoulder to lean on, look no further that our humble library in hopes you'll find solace here as well.To make a longwinded statement short, Seafront Village Library is a library first and foremost take our patrons under our wing as if you were one of Popola's own. Where our library is always just the right enough warm to keep you comfortable, our acts of service keep you entertained and well-fed by local vendors and partners. A place where you can rest no matter the hour or day, no matter who you are or what brought you here. ▍ ❝ BARD FOR HIRE.
Sponsored by: Lunar Tear BardsA very close group to Popola as she's one of two bards within Lunar Tear Bard's company. Sponsoring and helping financially supporting the library since Devola's passing, Popola now offers herself for work outside of the library. Though, you'll be able to get a taste of what you could hire every few nights when Popola picks up her lute on slow evenings.As much as she may appreciate tips as anyone else would, she's more keen to playing here as a hobby, though she will still take them for general repairs/collection additions.
▍ ❝ EVERGROWING LIBRARY.Despite being a very small library, Popola takes great care in travelling the Star and the First in order to keep shelves stocked to the roof. With this said, there's a few loose novels she keeps in her collection that don't get put out.Though, a good librarian is one who helps others in need. In Popola's case she encourages a donation service. Bring in old books you no longer read for others to enjoy and you get a menu item for free! Who can beat that?

▍ ❝ GESTALT'S CIDER.
A rich cider formed from the various shipped-in produce around the Seafront area, brewed with spices coming from far overseas. Named after an old family companion of Popola's whose drink of choice is a hard cider almost every Fall, though he made plenty of non-hard cider for the rest of the home and Popola's. Although the original recipe is lost to time, Popola spent time and time again recreating the cider to give to you. Gestalt's cider is a homey blend of your traditional faerie apple cider, though adding a pouch of dried cranberries and dried orange + lemon peels brings a little bite to it. Served with an orange peel and cinnamon stick garnish.
▍ ❝ NORI'S TRAIL MIX.
Taken from her very own cookbook, this trail mix is sure to give you all the healthy and not-so-healthy boost to your workflow. It was made originally to be given to Nori, Gestalt's eldest son when he went away on errands and the like. Inside is a mix of antelope jerky, peanuts, almonds, dried banana, dried apple, and various mixed chocolate pieces. Travel bags are very much available!
▍ ❝ DEVOLA'S CHAMOMILE TEA.
Hand-grown in Popola's garden, these chamomile tea leaves are living proof of her subtle affinity to botany and a tribute to her late sister Devola. The tea is brewed with chamomile leaves, lavender, cloves, and mint. A faintly sweet and grassy note taste is a strange yet very relaxing drink to settle down with. Due to having an abundance from being able to grow it year-round Popola often offers to sell the leaves at a small profit, so feel free to always ask if she has some! Served in a ceramic mug with sugar and a honey spoon for taste.
▍ ❝ YONAH'S FRUIT SANDWICHES.
Born over the pickiness of a sick child's eating habits, Popola took it upon herself to make something Yonah could and would eat. Learning of her adoration for sweets, Popola and Devola came up with a few ideas. Studying various cookbooks and samples of various foods around Eorzea, she found a special kind of dessert she hadn't seen before. A sandwich on white bread with a heavy cream filling with strawberries inside. It soon became a hit with Yonah and eventually became a slight tradition, and now it's come to you.
▍ ❝ RUBRUM'S WISHES. (Syncshell)
Once a Grimoire of note in another of Popola's colleague's collections, now a quietly hidden ally to those seeking more information. Unlike the other two Grimoires in her set, she's unable to communicate naturally with the owner. However, Popola and her have seemed to come to a small understanding and have agreed to help others who come into the library to fully understand sights that they may not have known before. Access to our SFW Only Syncshell. Any use of NSFW Mods/Attire (Swimsuit areas fully covered at bare minimum) will have you kicked from the Syncshell.
▍ ❝ POSTMAN'S COFFEE.
A kind-hearted yet strict as his job, Seafront's dedicated postman never misses a delivery due to this coffee. Brewed with roasted coffee beans mixed with a touch of espresso to give it more kick. Can be mixed with heavy whipping cream and sea salt caramel, but it's better plain for its true effect. While in her office one day, Nori had brought her one of these coffees as a thank you and she soon got hooked. It can surely keep you awake for a while but the shakes are certainly an unpleasant side effect.
▍ ❝ LOUISE'S BISCUTS.
A quiet girl from a seemingly faraway town, she was taken under the Postman's wing and given a small purpose. Though she didn't speak much besides gradual grunts. She seemed to have a voracious appetite which mostly was sedated by an unseen force but also calmed by some sweets. Learning this, a few town members came together to create a small sea salt chocolate biscuit, which she took a liking to. After a while, Louise seemed to disappear off the coast of Seafront after Nori and a few of his companions had spoken to her. Although, the recipe is still used in the homes of Seafront as a regional specialty.
