Seeing how the travelling Disciples of the Land rely on tales of old to forage and fish up new sorts of creatures using folklore from various parts of the realm, Popola sat down and spoke with some of her close friends and recollected folklore from their pasts, now offering them for any adventurers who come on by. Though, there are a few tales not exclusive to Gathering folklore open to rent as well...Gestaltic Tomes of Folklore
A worn Peisteskin journal dyed a dark blue, littered with gold embellishments front and back with an impression of an open lily embossed on the cover. This tome covers mostly the flora and fauna of various regions around Seafront and its vast, lush plains. From how to cultivate various flowers native to the Southern Plains in your own yard such as the elusive Lunar Tear, how to master catching the elusive Rhizodont, finding only the best scrap metal pieces, and how to ride a boar for some...reason. (Seriously, who put that in there? Was it Nori? Probably.)Pascal Tomes of Folklore
A beat-up Toadskin journal dyed a deep forest green, silver book corners pressed into it with an emblem of an eye cradled in an anemone flower on the cover. The tomes covers a much smaller range of subjects than the Gestaltic variant and focuses more so on the Flora and Ichthyology of an unspecified set of City Ruins and Forest villages lost to the faewild. From how to cultivate the elusive Desert Rose that was a gift for sapphic androids, how to properly survey Desert ruins for precious ores, and the not-so-elusive Mackerel. Now featuring the best blacksmithing techniques this side of the Star! (New body not included if you chose to eat the Mackerel however...)Symphonic Sisters of Eld
A stark white tome littered with opalescent framing, the rainbow light just subtle enough under the lamplight, with what almost can be described as a woman within a lily embossed on the cover. However, the contents seem like a hybrid of old hymns and tales of one sister's journey across the realm to find and defeat her other sisters with a wyvern companion and several disciples on her heels. It reads much like an epic with scattered imagery of each battle, though not all of it is fully translated; one could wonder if it's done on purpose or not. However, what can be deciphered makes it feel as if it's constantly being revised, an ongoing tale.Crimson Draken
A deep red dragonskin tome with rips in its cover, just barely covered by bronze edge covers, the image of a falling dragon embossed heavily onto the cover. A harrowing tale of a falling empire on the back of a former noble son and his Wyvern companion, a pact forged in bloodshed and dismay. Certainly not one to tell as a bedtime story, the amount of...creative liberties and carnage make it a bit of a gory read. Though it reads more like a history textbook with eerie parallels to the tragedies of the Dragonsong War that you can't even sleep off, it's a tale seemingly even tied to the history of Fool's Accord and the painting that Popola seemingly can never finish within the library.
